What is Pro Rate?

Pro Rate... Is a simple yet fare option for consumers whom alter the products or services.

This can and should be applied too products and services. Limitation of a service or product being discarded by the consumer at that particular time is and should be subject to the pro rated deal.

Example: A consumer orders food, but asks too hold the cheese.
Pro Rate: The consumers food should now be discounted because the cheese has being discarded from their order.

Example: A client checks into a hotel room at 3am and if checkout is at 11am. This only gives them 8hrs in the room. A full room rate is based off a 16hr stay.
Pro Rate: The client should get the room for 1/2 the cost because they are using the room for 1/2 the time.

That was some basic examples when pro rate should be applied there are many more things this theory can be applied too .

Please comment on the post of you know a few examples to help us all save money.

Problem: Employers are cheap greedy and think we should do as they want. This is not a fare business practice.

Example: A consumer asks if they can have extra cheese on that item. Pro Rate is now applyed for the employer or company by increasing the cost for that meal.

Ok so it applies too the employer and or company, but not you; this is usually the case.

Employers are reluctant to reduce the cost of any item even tho you only wanted the patty not the buns or the cheese and so forth . You end up paying the full price while the employer saves all those items for the next order.

Please try this for yourself and let's avoid these companies if proration is only one-sided . This is not fare and these companies should be held accountable .

Method: When you want to prorate the cheese for example. The best way is too start by asking how much for a extra slice of cheese? They will say +$0.50 or whatever price the employer decided . Now you know how much that company or employer values their cheese at. Now ask for no cheese for your order with a proration of -$0.50. A good company will reduce your bill.

Thank you for reading my proration 101 I'd love to hear from the community and if anyone else uses my proration method to reduce the cost.
