The conventional way of the internet is, they collect traits (data) from every website we visit to be able to give us a "better experience" when next we log into the web. But what happens when you don't really like a website but had to visit it once to get an information you need but keep being fed continuously from the data you left behind? That's an abuse on your data.
Even in recent years, we have seen a high number of data abuse from some of the top social media platforms and websites. There have been cases where personal information logged in to a website has been sold to another party (This was supposed to be private) so that these parties can have a database of people to advertise their products to and potentially convert them to patronizers.
COVA
COVA is an open source, new internet protocol of smart data that learns from its users, remembers and knows when to keep a secret and many more. It allows data owners to compose a data usage policy that specifies how their data is expected to behave, enforcing the policy by code through a machine-enforceable data usage policy called the "Smart Policy".
With COVA, you can set certain parameters on how data you leave on the internet can be used or behave. COVA gives total control to data owners, eliminating the incessant abuse on data and providing the right kind of feeds to users by simply replacing the conventional https:// with COVA://
COVA will be holding an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session tagged "COVAAMA" to answer every technical and commercial question that the community might have following their success in the HuobiNEXT voting. The best five questions will be selected, answered and rewarded with 1000 tokens every week. The deadline for the first session will be 2018/12/5 12:00 PM (GMT+8). Participation can be done via Telegram Groups, Twitter, and Reddit.
