When the White House speaks out against openly questioning the mental fitness of a sitting President, please remind them of this from 2014! #ITMFA
However, let us assume for a minute we could take the White House's complaint seriously. Why would we not question the sanity of a sitting President if he is acting irrationally? Are we not a Democratic Republic ruled by laws, laws that include the public's right to be governed, note I did not say ruled, over by a sane Representative?
Seems we forget that part, because he, or she, is called President rather than a Representative as Congresspeople are, that the President of the United States is not our ruler, he is the people's Representative in the Executive Branch. As our representative we have a right to decide if he continues to be worthy of the job, if he should be removed, or just decide for ourselves that he's an asshole.
Or not!
But, yes, Mrs Huckabee-Sanders, not only is it proper for the public and media to question if a man who is behaving irrationally is sane, but it is even our duty to do so if he poses a possible threat to us as a people, and even worse, the whole world, since America still has the most powerful collection of weapons on the Earth, weapons that could potentially drive humanity to extinction.
You want the President to never be questioned? Have him be the President of Russia, not the USA. I hear questioning him there would lead to radiation poisoning.
