RE: Perceptions of Jordan Peterson. Reflections after the lecture in Iceland

He's new to me and I'm not sufficiently arrogant to offer judgment from superficial impression. Your essay is outstanding, however--balanced and an invitation to learn more. That I have started to do, already: So far, a New York Times article that charges him with endorsing patriarchy, and a New York Review of Books article that quotes him as writing, “consciousness is symbolically masculine and has been since the beginning of time.”
I've yet to listen to or read Peterson himself. That I will do, because you have made the idea of knowing about him intriguing. I certainly hope the two opinions expressed in the Times and the NYR are not a true reflection of his beliefs.
Your pictures are delightful. I like especially the one where you are sitting side by side. You don't seem to be intimidated by the great personage :)
