I'm with you on the feminism angle. It's embarrassing (as a woman) to listen to them propagating such bullshit.

Gloating at abnormality. That will happen regardless of the label it's got.

I like your thoughts on why trans people could be that way. Is it the chicken or the egg? Were they pushed into this corner, isolated, triggering this way of being, or did the mental disorder come first causing them to withdraw? I dunno. Good food for thought though. And, yes, some victims of bullying become bullies too.
