Heh, the best parents in the world don't have kids. As soon as they have kids they no longer have all the answers. It's like kids suck it out of them. :P
Then they know they're the best parents of teenagers, until their kids are teenagers. Rinse, repeat.
Now, as a grandparent, I'm watching my kidlings make the same mistakes we made, but with their own nuances. But, of course, they were already better parents than we ever were before they had kids. haha
