Changes and new beginnings
So far 2019 has been a year of new beginnings and changes for us. My boyfriend was stuck at the company he had been working for the past 1,5 years, knowing he wouldn't be able to grow more, although he has the knowledge to do so for sure. It was a very stressful situation working there, and I can honestly say that the stress the company has brought us, has caused him serious health problems last year. But patience got rewarded, like I kept telling him that something better was going to cross paths with him, I turned out right. You know you can't push the universe to deliver things right away, and you got to be patient. Thankfully, he has been working at the new company for almost a month now, and it's such a huge difference with his previous employer. This company is totally focussed on the personal growth of their employees, which is a pretty good thing if you ask me. Several times he has come home with things he shared from training, that are actual also valuable in life on a personal matter and not only business related.
Not only are things changing for my boyfriend, but for me as well
Where I put most of my ideas away to be looked at later, I'm really working hard at the moment to push things forward. Although you might not see it yet, it's going to be announced really soon, there are a few things that have priority that I'm not finished with yet, but yesterday evening I've managed to get at least 2/3 of that task done. Thanks for brainstorming with me on those things I wasn't certain on how to handle them @kymaticus, without your input I might have not come that far writing that all out yesterday. We had a good talk about his work and my project and plans, and I just love it when we get together and talk about these things for hours. It's like finally our passionate selves have been released from wintersleep again.
Travelling alone for the first time
Where my boyfriend will be traveling to Holland for work soon, which will help him gain knowledge for his new job, I'm attending Steemfest 4 in November. Normally we always travel as a family, and this will be the first time for the both of us to travel by plane by ourselves. Where we joined him for his 3 week training in Belgium after he had just started his job here in Budapest in 2017, he will now travel to Holland alone, and my daughter and I will stay at home. He will be able to focus on work while being there, without us interfering, and I can focus on my project from home without having to travel with the little one. I'm not interested in joining him to Holland, but I will give him a shopping list of things that he needs to buy for us to bring home, lol. For me the first time traveling to Steemfest 4 in November will be an even bigger step, as it's the first time I will travel to Asia, and I will be doing that alone. Two new experiences at once.
Little girl going to school
The past days I've been trying to find out how to register at schools for September, which isn't an easy task because most of the schools don't have a decent website to compare, and some of them even have wrong email addresses on them, which is not making my task easier at all. We prefered her going to an international school, but all these private schools will cost about 1/3 of the salary my boyfriend brings in every month, which is not affordable at this moment. Especially not as we decided to just stick to this apartment while we last here in Hungary, because of the plans to hopefully move to another country again when the first opportunity comes along. It's just not worth all the hassle and money. But I was also informed that there is a public Hungarian school, that teaches the children in English 50% of the time, and that the costs are about 1/3 of the public school fees. That is affordable, and we are really really hoping they have an opening for her next school year. People have been explaining that you usually register before May 1st, which I asked the children's doctor about months ago, but she said no worries.. Again, communication problems, while I was dealing with someone speaking proper English. But I haven't given op hope yet, there's still a chance one of the prefered schools have a spot for her, and I will try to find out more later today, plus we will visit the Hungarian/English one tomorrow.
A lot of new beginnings and personal growth for the 3 of us
I told my boyfriend in 2018, that 2019 was going to be our year, and I'm quite confident that that's going to be the case. As far as I can tell right now, this year is going to bring many good things, and I believe it's going to be the best year for us as a family so far. I feel like weight is slowly being lifted of my shoulder, and starting to see things much clearer again. I love how I feel excited and passionate about what I'm doing, and I can see the same in my boyfriend's eyes when he shares things about his new job with me. Things are finally falling into place, and I really can't wait to look back on this year a year from now..
Are you also having a year where you're making a lot of progress like we are? I would love to read more about that in the comments.. I find it inspiring to read the experiences of others, so please don't forget to leave a comment!
