A Creepy ICO I Wouldn't Invest In.

Here is an ICO that feels so creepy that I would not even put a penny into it. I referred recently in a blog https://steemit.com/life/@birdsong/we-re-not-in-kansas-any-more about an episode S3:E1-Nosedive in the Netflix series "Black Mirror" where personality types are continually massaged and reinforced, and where everyone rates their interactions with people and your social status is reflected in your continually changing rating. Well this ICO sentigraph.io looks to be taking us on this path.

This is from their home page:

“Happiness is the “nucleus” of our lives. In as much as we try to stay happy by conditioning our minds, it still is gravely affected by external inputs and impulses. Thus, we need a way to dynamically track the overall happiness or sentiments of any arbitrary participant. This data will help any authority, parent, teacher, governing body etc., understand how their daily decisions directly affect the lives of their constituents, students, citizens etc.”

Technology is just technology. But how it is used is the important thing. For centuries we have been manipulated and coerced into heading down a path that by and large has not been to the benefit of the bulk of humanity. The crypto space has the potential to turn this around by empowering people and sharing the wealth. To me, what sentigraph is proposing is simply another way to gather information in order to control humanity. A big thumbs down from me.
