The way that I'll sometimes frame my situation of wanting to make the most out of what I have, my abilities, the conditions of my life, etc. is to imagine the most wonderful, determined, strong-willed spirit of all time dropping into my body to take over the decisions from that point forward.
What would "he" do differently? How would he push this mind and this body to new heights?
I say this with the utmost respect to you, because I don't know what your medical conditions are, so please correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel that you can do SOMETHING that qualifies as exercise, even if it's something really small compared to what most people out there do.
What I'm trying to get at is that there may be more strength and ability there than you give yourself credit for, if only you push yourself a bit harder to find it.
In any case, I pray that your condition is healed, or made more bearable and workable for you if that's not a possibility.
My body is pegged not to get any better because of wide array of complications brought about by kidney failure. There are a lot of imbalances that disfigured and disabled me.
But what I can only do is proper nutrition and exercise of the mind.
Any form of physical exercise will just do more harm than good in my situation. Thanks for your well wishes for me @jamesbrown
The best we can do is to make the most of what we have.
One thing that I hope I never forget with old age is this feeling I have of what a great privilege and gift it is to be human, to have experienced the memories that I cherish and to have this chance to connect with other people and myself, for that matter.
Thank you Sir.
I am also grateful to have witnessed this world and had met my family and strangers, and the beauty from all of itt despite what I've got from this world is somewhat much less than any other.
Enjoy the weekend.
You can only work with what you've got. There's always SOMETHING you can do to improve your physical health without putting too much at risk.
The main point is to be active enough to maintain vitality.
You take care, as well.
What I want to convey is that I can't do exercise because of my medical condition.I see your point clearly @jamesbrown Thanks.
I see.
