Its nice to see babies when they start to understand the world around them and interact with other people.
I have seen babies younger than 1yo offering the pacifier to people they trust, its really cute if you can catch them doing it.

It is wonderful to see a baby react like that, that show their affection with the beings that they like, and even when there is not much pleasure. At that stage they learn very quickly.
