RE: What do you Expect to GET, if You Don't DO Anything?

in #psychology6 years ago

When I was a child there were moments we had nothing to eat. My mom had to borrow money from my grandmother and both of them knew she wouldn't be able to pay it back. I couldn't join school trips, I couldn't buy treats that my friends could, I couldn't buy new clothes or shoes. I didn't want to live like this forever.

I started to work hard on my goals. I was one of the best students and I was also helping my mom with the household. I left home when I was 18 to go to the university. There was no financial support from my parents and I had to work during my studies. At that time there was no admin work for students. I had to work in the warehouse and mainly the night shifts. It was so hard but it helped me to pay for my school and it taught me that nothing in life is for free.

As you say people keep moaning without doing something. Everybody is responsible for their decision and usage of their time/free time. If somebody wants to make more on Steemit then they have to start engaging with other Steemians and building their blogs in a consistent way. You are right and people tend to expect everything by doing nothing. Well, this is not how it works for most of us. And I learned it the hard way :)

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
