RE: IQ vs EQ: What is more important?

Although, the importance of having a high IQ had being the subject of academic discussion and global success for many years. Recent studies in the field of Psychology have brought about the importance of having a standard EQ, as the emotion and behaviour that is attributed to people, could determine their wellbeing and success in many situations of life.

I believe in your concept, that the EQ is more important than the IQ, in determining how people will become successful in the world of today.
In the counselling situation, the kinds of cognitive behaviour that aren't performing at the right standard, are usually given attention through their counterpart, which are the corresponding forms of affective behaviour. Because, when people live a satisfied and contented life, they will ultimately perform in the academics through their best standard.Thank you, @amulla505, for considering to deal with the two aspects of academic and personal life, that is, Intelligence Quotient (IQ) and Emotional Quotient (EQ).
