Perception and personalities- What is your personality type?

Look at this picture closely.  What do you see?

Very few people can make out what to see in this picture.  People are all unique creatures.  We all see and experience things differently, because our brains work differently. We also see things differently because of our personality differences.

So which personality type are you?

If you don't know your personality type, do yourself a favor and go and complete this test.  Very interesting! This test is one of the most accurate tests I have completed on personality types.  This is my result.

Perception is defined as:

a way of regarding, understanding, or interpreting something; a mental impression. The ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through the senses.

Perception is influenced by personality types

If you completed the test above, you will now understand why I say that your perception can be influenced by your personality type.  People with certain personality types, do not like the same things, and can not see things in the same way. Things that are very logical to some people are just not logical to others.

This makes me angry sometimes. My husband is not always a very logical person, and we often clash because of our personality differences. I love him, but it doesn't mean that I understand him all the time and visa versa.  The fact that I have a sixth sense about certain things, also doesn't help.  I don't like taking chances, and often think ahead of time.  I try to visualize the end-result first before even making the move.

If I a make a life decision, it is always a very conscious decision. (It is like my brain already worked out the positive and negative aspects)

So what did you see in the picture above?  It took me a few minutes to actually see that it is a man's face with a cowboy hat.  Were you able to see this immediately?  Apparently only 1 out of a 100 people can see this immediately.  Are you part of that 1% or are you like me?  I had to analyze the picture first to see the whole thing.

Here are some more pictures that might trick your mind.

Picture B - What did you see?  How many legs does an elephant have?

Picture C-  What did you see?  Did you see a young girl or did you see an old lady?

Remember this....

Cool post. I saw the image immediately when it was a thumbnail in the chat room-maybe it was more obvious in the smaller image.

Thanks, yes, it took me a few minutes. I totally wrote another post last night and then saw this one pic while searching for something else. Then I deleted and started again. LOL!

I could not make out the image, until after I read what you said it is, the strange thing is when I knew what it was I could see it immediately. Shows you how the brain work.Hi @giantbear

Hi @rynow yes, once you've seen it, it can't be unseen!

Looked at it once, saw nothing, glanced back up and BAM!

@bmwrider Ha ha ha....took me a few minutes too...felt like an idiot though...because once you see it you can not un-see it again!
