I know what the energy is.
Having had much experience, it seems to me (obviously I must say) that manic energy is the energy from happiness, anger, or sadness without the actual emotions manifesting themselves, or perhaps more as a compounded, complex emotion
For example, to create a key:
- a manic individual that comes off as excited probably has 'bottled' happiness
-a manic individual that comes off as agitated probably has 'bottled' anger
-a manic individual that comes off as distant probably has 'bottled' sadness.
To compound further:
-'bottled' excitement: trembling with euphoria
-'bottled' agitation: trembling with rage or fury
-'bottled' distant/dissociation: seems depersonalized and de-realized
I'm always been interested in psychology, and also must say that I've experiencing a variety of complex repression ("bottled compounds" by article logic). The energy that comes from each is unique and has it's own advantages, and things to consider a worry/disadvantage.
