Apparently we all have tendencies based on how we process and perceive expectations. The question is; which tendencies do you have?
I stumbled across the information while listening to a Tim Ferriss podcast where he interviewed Gretchen Rubin, author of The Four Tendencies, along with her other accolades.

Show above are the four tendencies.....I took the quiz on her website, though just based on the examples she spoke about I had a good feeling which I was.

Questioner
To no surprise at all - I am a questioner, which makes sense given all the research I do when it comes to investing and just about anything in life. Additionally, I tend to question the reasons for expectations from others
Which Are You?
Upholder - Meets inner and outer expectations
Rebel - Resists both inner and out expectations
Obliger - Meets outer expectations, but resists inner expectations.
An example of an obliger is someone that always goes out of their way to help and meet other people's needs but fails to stick to the things they set for themselves.
Anyway, found it very interesting and made me more self aware about myself!

I'm an obliger, a rebel and upholder... i am all of the above.
I guess I came out closest to "Obliger," although it didn't really fit that well. Interesting set of ideas, though.
Well i change every year, sometimes i'm a obliger, sometimes i'm a upholder, other times i'm a questioner, it really depends
Need to read that book to actually learn more about the different tendencies
I found this interesting. It was good to learn a little more about myself.
I took the quiz and came out Obliger, which I think is fairly accurate. But I have moments of rebel too LOL

You and I are one in the same. My results were also Obliger, but I might take it again to see if I get the same results.
I think I try to be an Upholder but fail. Probably closest o an Obliger. :-(
Nothing wrong with that, atleast we know you care about other peoples needs :-)
Not that there's anything wrong with it, but putting myself last doesn't work that well for me sometimes! And when I don't meet people's needs, that is stressful. So all in all, can be quite a lot of pressure.
