Thank you! If my supposition is correct, I believe it is possible to cure those who had to emotionally divorce themselves while very young as a protective mechanism that became ingrained. How many years of therapy is not something I can hazard a guess at, but it certainly would be important for the person to be willing. Off the top of my head, I would say those with a higher IQ would be able to make a more informed decision and, thus, be more likely to consider the idea, but I really don't know anything about the percentage of psychopaths that wish to change, aside from the one that I mentioned I'd read the blog of.
