Certainly, a more intelligent psychopath would be able to deceive an expert, especially if the expert's IQ weren't high enough and/or they lacked sufficient experience. I would suppose that there are many psychopaths who would look at gaining emotions and potentially losing logic would not be worth it but there might some who would prefer to get rid of the void in them (the one due to having divorced their emotions). Keep in mind, however, that those psychopaths who suffered brain damage to the frontal lobes, resulting in psychopathy, even if there was also severe emotional abuse, may not be in a position to be helped until brain surgery advances sufficiently to undue damage, which may never be possible.
