Absolutely. Nothing wrong with being around other chatty people as long as you're not expected to speak that much yourself. That's why I love riding the train two hours a day. I get to be close to all these people - sometimes in literal, physical contact, while being left completely alone.

Noooooo, how can anyone love long commute time. Are you an immortal or an alien? XD

Seriously, it's the only time I can concentrate or relax. I have a monthly commuter-rail pass, so I've even considered riding around the state on weekends so that I can get some writing done. If I stay home, I just wind up cleaning the house or mowing the lawn. Once you're on the train there's nothing to do but sit and work, or read.

Well yea, cleaning the house or mowing the lawn sucks. But maybe if there's a time out day when you can relax all day without being bothered, then staying at home would be nicer than traveling. Plus sometime there are weird people on the train, can't be too careful these days.
