On realizing you have been an unpaid Propagandist

in #psychology2 years ago

By virtue of my nature to seek the betterment of myself and others I became a propaganda strategist. I didn't know it at the time, it is hard for me to admit and accept it, especially because I was never paid or given the job outright, but it is what it is.

Ever notice sensitive subjects such as gender, race, religion, self-defense and even abortion get picked up by the media in coordination?

Ever wonder why every couple of months the same few narratives come up in some sort of controversy?

People just think the world is coming to an end, and it might very well be, but more than that we're being manipulated constantly.

If you say X then the masses will react in Z way. I am scary good at predicting how groups of people will react, again and again I shared with the internet the comebacks to be expected, and this is being picked up by parties who use it to distract others...which is why I have withdrawn from making public comments as of late. I wanted to nullify the wrong before it happened and instead I probably helped make it happen.

What are we not supposed to see, what are we not supposed to discuss, when we're debating personal liberties or the abuse of power? Should we just ignore?

One of the best things that ever happened to me was going without the media. For many years I didn't have a phone or a TV, I wasn't even reading the newspapers or listening to the radio, and this woke me up to the fact that the masses are jumping in a reactionary fashion to what is being purposedly presented to them.

When everyone is talking about the same thing it means they are being influenced to do so, and it is frustrating for me to understand this.

The surface internet talks about who owns the media instead of talking about who the media owns. It's not about who influences as the influencer can be replaced easily, and should there be any ultimate influencers they would not be easy to identify. It's more about who gets influenced and what are they being influenced towards...and WHEN they are being influenced.

If no one falls for propaganda then it's game over, but people love drama way too much. People like the idea of being able to identify an enemy because it gives them a feeling of safety. If you know who the bad guy is then all you have to do is stay away from them, or worse...take their destiny into your own hands and eliminate them.

Fear can be both a paralyzing agent and a call to action.

While everyone is wasting time discussing They/Them/Theirs, the real They are going Mine, Mine and Mine.

Reclaim your mind and time, do good as much as you can, and stop looking for things or people to be mad at or frightened of. How will you ever find peace when you're always looking to get involved in war?
