Vou mostrar agora o 2005 $5 CAN chamado "A Morsa Atlântica e Filhote".
Esta moeda foi parte de uma série de moedas e selos emitidos em conjunto pela Royal Canadian Mint e pelo Correio Canadense para homenagear a variada vida selvagem do Canadá, entre 2004 e 2006.
Ela pesa 28g (0,9oz) com 99,99% de pureza de prata e acabamento Proof.
Sua tiragem foi de 5.519 unidades e o preço de lançamento foi de $49.55 CAD.
O reverso mostra uma família de morsas atlânticas (Odobenus rosmarus) descansando em um bloco de gelo.
Se olharmos na wikipedia a foto de uma morsa veremos que a representação da moeda é falha em relação ao tamanho das presas, que podem passar de 1,10m nos machos.
Elas utilizam as suas presas para se locomover, cravando os dentes no gelo e puxando o corpo para frente (por isso o nome Odobenus, que significa "aquele que caminha com os dentes").
O obverso mostra a conhecida imagem da Rainha Elisabete II, desenhada por Susanna Blunt.

Yes, it is 99.99% fine silver. The first $5 with 99.99% silver purity was the 1988 Maple Leaf.
I love the Maple Leaf's, they are a bit whiter.
You can tell at a distance they are four nines!!!
They are going for a much higher premium down in the US, so they are in the keeper stack.
Problem is... everything is in the keeper stack....😇
