Whilst looking for material for my public domain poetry project, I stumbled upon Archive.org and their collection of material which is now in the public domain, and freely downloadable. Some illustrations extracted from the book are featured below, and give you an idea of the first chapter. The illustrations are good, and the text informative if somewhat dated in style. I do not think there are many modern books that will tell you how to pack a horse. Plus the illustrations alone make the book very interesting, and well worth downloading
