"Punk’s Not Dead ... !! Born as a symbol of idealism, freedom and attitude to fight against the pretense of the reality of life. Although many reaped a wave of controversy and the world seemed to be only one eye, considered their presence as an anarchist group. Punk as a musical genre that voices protest and courage will never die, and will never be a legendary story that is only worth remembering.
Despite being a minority, various punk communities in the world will continue to grow, develop and blend with other musical genre genres until now there are more than 8 famous punk communities in the world. Such as the following:
1. Street Punk
Loved the Rock Punk genre and formed the first Street Punk in 1980 as a rebellious community against artistic pretensions. Street Punk performs with more 'crowded' attributes than the The Oi or Skinhead group.
An easily recognizable feature of street punk kids is the colorful mohawks, tattoos, leather jackets, full patch studded and decorated with applique names of punk bands. Chaos UK, Discharge, The Anti-Nowwhere League and Oxymoron are bands that animate Street Punk.
2.Skinhead
Bald bald appearance with Freed Perry polo clothes, semi-tight jeans and monkey boots and jeans jackets. Skinheads like the music of Ska, Reggae, Oi and Rock Steady. Their sub-culture was born in London, England in the 1960s. Even though Skinhead looks 'delinquent', they are hard workers, some earn a living as unskilled laborers and port workers. That's why Skinhead children never have long hair, mohawk or disheveled because they are strictly forbidden in their place they work.
Racism labels are also strongly accused of the Punk Skinhead community because of their frequent fighting with immigrant workers from Pakistan and South Asia, the cause is trivial because immigrants are willing to pay lower wages and that means threatening the land of Skinhead workers.
3.Oi
Cockney accents in the UK interpret Oi as an expression of Hello! The Oi is formed from several Street Punk communities that were in the midst of being hit by Punk Rock fever as protest music. Many people who identify Oi with Skinhead while identical with the stamp "Racism". Oi loves peace, their song lyrics talk about anti-racism, love, football and Skinhead life. That is why Oi Music does not see differences in race, skin color and religious beliefs.
4.Queercore (Homocore) aka Maho
Freedom and Equality of Rights for Lesbians, Homo Sexuals, Bisexuality and Transgender were expressed in the Punk Queercore community which was formed in 1980. This community is known to be intelligent and have more material than other punk communities. Article magazine publishing, filmmaking, music recording until their art shows are neglected to express themselves.
5.Riot Grrrl
Riot Grrrl is a feminist Punk Hardcore movement whose members are women. Formed in 1990 in Washington DC as the Punk community with a Gender equality ideology that women are also free to express as well as men. Not only as a punk band music community.
The Riot Grrrl also fought for their people's problems such as rape, domestic violence, women's empowerment, racism until the trafficking of women (prostitution). Punk bands born from this community include Bikini Kill, Bratmobile, Heavens to Betsy, Excuse 17, Skinned Teen etc.
7.Skate punk
Starting from the California Beach SkateBoard Community, Skate Punk was formed in 1980 where at that time young people who liked to play SkateBoard were considered as a form of rebellion. Energetic music, full of Ditorsi is a unique blend of Punk Rock and Hardcore Punk. Some of the world famous musicians born from the Skate Punk community include Drunk Injuns, NOFX, McRad, Agent Orange, Hogan Heroes to beautiful band musicians Avril Lavigne.
8.Nazi punk (neo nazi)
In contrast to the Sid Vicious vocalist of the Sex Pistols as a World Famous Punk Band that uses the Nazi Swastika symbol as a comedy or joke. The Nazi Punk community really used the Nazi Swastika symbol as the power of the dictator Adolf Hitler who came to understand their Ideology.
Their song lyrics contain anti-Jewish, anti-homosexual, hatred differences in skin color. Whether this Neo Nazi community really believed in the Ideology of the Adolf Hitler Fuhrer or just just joined it.
Steemit's friends are the "8 most famous punk communities in the world" although there are still other punk community sub-genres such as Hardcore Punk, Ska Punk, Glam Punk, Crust Punk and Punk Fashion where a group of communities who are not true punkers and only imitate the children's clothing style punk kid. So unique is the phenomenon of Punk up in Indonesia itself is also known to many punk children's communities.

I bet the guy with the mohawk flipping off the cops would be highly displeased that you labeled him a Nazi punk. That is a pretty serious accusation.
The riot grrrl movement began in Olympia WA and then spread to other places such as Washington DC.
Anarcho, gutter/crust, '77 style, emo-punk, folk-punk and straight edge are all just as prominent subcultures of the punk world as the ones on your list. Might as well throw metal core in there as well. Goth punk too.
