Christmas decorations diy - woodburning - video

in #pyrography7 years ago

Christmas is coming and it's never too late to make some diy decorations. I want to share with you two ideas that I have made last year, and used them as ornaments for the Christmas tree. All you need is slices of wood, a pyrography pen and rope to hang them. You can find a cheap pyrography pen around ten dollars, and you can use it for multiple projects; it's not like a one time thing. You can also find wood slices at a local craft store; or if you find a tree branch with a radius around 3-4 cm  that will do; in this case you will need a saw to cut the slices.

Here are the two videos with the woodburned tree ornaments.

Have fun and I'll be happy if you share your wood ornaments with me !

To creat that pieces you have to be very concentrade a misstep and you can burn your hand. Great job after a hard effort

:)) Yes that is true; you can burn your fingers on tiny pieces, like maybe 3 cm. I only burned mine twice in almost 2 years.

That say me you know exactly what your want and what you are doing so just see the result :)

That's pretty ornaments!

very cool pyrography Anca,good job!!!

They are so beautiful:)

Thank you!

You're welcome!
Have a beautiful Sunday!

feel free to visit my blog with my art and photos!

Those are so fun. And I really like the natural wood pieces. Just like at summer camp, when we made home-made name tags. Though yours do look a bit nicer. Like them all, but Mr. Bear pondering a good Christmas idea made me really smile. Thanks for sharing more of your art.

Thank you for your beautiful words. I like Mr. Bear also; he's got a happy vibe to him.

so cute!
they're too tiny
I hope you don't have RSI for doing this
seems like painstaking to do

what did you use to color those?

I used colored pencils.
I'm not sure what RSI is?

I see .. thanks for the that

RSI is repetitive strain injury
that's when your arm tingles, numb, hurt a lot from doing something repetitive or could strain the muscles most peeps working with the comp and some artists have that :)

Thank you for selecting my post and for the resteem !

Very good job

Glad you like it!

It's Looking Beautiful I Appreciate your post 😊

Thank you :)

wow, so nice decorations!!! I've never used the tecnique of woodburning, but it's really fascinating!

It's fairly easy to use if you only want the contour and not shadows.

Very cool pyrography @anca3drandom

Nice designs. I never went to pyrography but saw few movies on youtube. Things people create with it are mindblowing. The closest I was, trying to brand one of my toys with soltering iron or engrawing with laser cutter. Great work!

Thank you ! Yes, some people can make portraits using this technique, which I find quite amazing. Or realistic animals, landscapes. Unfortunately I haven't reached that step.
