Bellow you can find several links to Steemit posts dealing with bots and mining Steem. Since the mining part will be obsolete in near future only the posts about the bots -and benevolent bots - will really remain useful. Or am I wrong?
Why am I publishing the list bellow? For two reasons:
- to keep it some place else besides in the bookmarks - not so important
- to refresh it, clean it up and add new resources - very important
Why am I interested in these resources?
For three reasons and I hope that you might chip in with your knowledge.
Some of you are genuine wizards when it comes to writing scripts for bots and stuff.
These three reasons are actually three short scripts:
- ENGAGEMENT GUILD PROPOSAL: User Retention Solution + Watch Video ExplanationDaily lists of posts with most comments / eyeballs - a must have for great @stellabelle's initiative ->
- The list of posts filtered by some attribute (tag, user, ...) with their attributes (title, url, thumbnail, ...)
- The content of the post
All the scripts should work without steem node installed locally.
First script would, ideally, create a post with the list and autopublish it. @stellabelle can explain it better.
The other two scripts should work as some sort of web services so they can be called from anywhere. With some security / authentication in place, of course.
Is this doable?
If yes, and I think that it is, how? I guess that with python and necessary libraries on linux. Are Windows and Mac also the options for the OS?
Thanks a lot for your input. We are willing to learn.
Here is the short list that I've collected over the time while browsing Steemit:

Felix, did you save every single existing badge? This must have been a huge amount of work and time.
I can make a fresh and accurate footer now :) Thank you very, very much!
I copied all image links into my script by hand, yes.
When I started, I didn't realise how many there were ...
:) You must be very determined. Or stubborn.
Anyways - great work!
I tried scaling the images.
It worked once - now this :(
Changed it back to the old settings.

Thank you. I guess I'll have to divide this list of resources into three distinct lists:
Your resources and knowledge are simply great, congrats.
here@kefkius autovote with UI
Thanks a lot. Will add it to the list.
This is a very useful guide. Thanks for the mention as well!
It's a lot to go through. Time to learn python :)
RESTEEMED.
Thank you!
it's pretty awesome. I used to dislike bots, now i think there's a good place for them. when will the mining of steem end?
With Hard fork 0.17, I guess. Check this post, chapter Removing Proof of Work.@stellabelle
Do the notifications work for you now?
really? That's soon isn't it? I'm not worried about the notifications.
It should be soonish :) No date is set yet, I think.
These can be easily done (except eyeball count) by using SteemSQL or SteemData. Please let me know your specific requests.
Excellent and thank you in advance.
I will write a short specification for each request.@clayop
Are the eyebells a frontend / steemit.com UI thing?
Yes
Great collection! Your post was included in the Steem.center wiki page Setting up a Miner recommended links. Thanks and good luck again!
@steemcenterwiki
Thank you very much. I will update and renew it regularly.
Hello, @steemcenterwiki
Here is the second edition: Collection Of Posts About Steemit Bots And Mining
Thanks for consolidating this.
You are welcome :)
What content in the post triggered this response? Thanks!@matrixdweller
Excellent. I think you could easily script these three scripts that are mentioned above. It would take you how much, half an hour for each? Less? :)
@ubg is on the list :)
Thanks, will do.
Is this bot trigger when the post is edited too?@matrixdweller
Because I've added two links to the body of the post a minute ago and got another quote from the bot.
This is great. It can be very useful with displaying / caching the content and refreshing it when it changes.
OK. So my dream of autorefresh of content is over. No problem. I can make a hash and check it periodically. Or something like that :)
I am talking of autoposting a filtered subset of steemit posts on a site outside steemit.com ...
