RE: Scam is never the solution: work hard

in #q7 years ago

Thanks for bringing this up again. Just the case we treated today in a WhatsApp group which i wouldn't want to mention. Its very unfortunate how people descend too low to trying to scam their fellows, one thing for sure is that everyday is for the thief but one day is for the owner of the house. Thanks for addressing this issue again.

You have great posts, @austinebizzy. Excellent quality.

Being from Nigeria, I'm sure you're very familiarized with the scamming scene. I'm not saying this disrespectfully or saying you are one of them, but let's face it. Nigeria has a scamming problem and you guys must have seen a lot of it. Do you think that many of the scammers nowadays on Steemit come from your country?

Nigerians has not gone deep into scamming per say here on steemit, the case i just reported is a case of an offline scamming or otherwise duping. The persons involved asked some other persons to pay them into their local banks account so they can be thought how to be successful. Am not defending anyone cos am always very open, scamming is everywhere but for steemit i think av equally seen persons from some other countries that feed from it as experts here on steemit.

Judging from the english and the way most of them chat i am sure they are not Nigerians
