"True wisdom is not acquired by capturing knowledge, it is earned by acting upon knowledge. True bravery is not the absence of fear, it is doing what you feel is the right thing to do, in spite of fear."

Found this pretty neat quote that encapsulates what it is to be a somewhat intelligent being.. You can have all the book knowledge and theory in the world taught to you.. but until you wield it and hone your skills, it's merely potential. Most the species collective knowledge is at your finger tips, do not squander nor neglect the fact the only thing preventing you from learning things that would have been locked behind years of academia is you and where you choose to spend your time.

Never heard of Freequill before.

"True wisdom is not acquired by capturing knowledge, it is earned by acting upon knowledge."

Actually, IME wisdom is only acquired by trying to act on knowledge and failing miserably because of utterly foolish misunderstanding we thought was knowledge, and grasping the actual facts only by dint of recovering from the terrible losses, excruciating pain, staunching the flow of our life's blood from the wounds we have caused ourselves to suffer, and managing to resolve our shame and disappointment and hold our heads up high again despite we have once more proved to ourselves what great and credulous fools we are. But that's a bit lengthy for a pithy aphorism, so your quote above will stand in for publishing purposes.

The latter part about bravery is true enough. Lacking fear is just foolishness. A lifetime spent innawoods taught me that if you're not afraid, you're food.

Thanks!
