I recently came across Invictus Capital a team of engineers and scientists, who embrace the rapid evolution of technology and its application to the financial sector. Invictus Capital has partnered with Qtum and Udemy to bring a free online course explaining Qtum and its main goal of building a secure Value Transfer Protocol using decentralized applications. The technology behind Qtum is very interesting and merges features of Bitcoin blockchain and Ethereum Blockchain, with some clever scalable twists that allow specific blockchain settings to be modified by making use of smart contracts, and without the need for a hard fork.
Once completed you are eligible to earn a free $15 worth of Qtum. The course is very easy and it only takes +/- 31 min to finish. At the end of the course if you are not already a member of Invictus Capital they will explain what you need to do so you can receive your Qtum.
After finishing the course all I can say is that Qtum is very interesting.
Qtum is an open-sourced public blockchain platform, leveraging the security of UTXO while enabling multiple virtual machines including EVM and the revolutionary x86 VM. Qtum is PoS based and boasts a Decentralized Governance Protocol (DGP) allowing specific blockchain settings to be modified by making use of smart contracts. Qtum is working with Google Cloud as a software partner and launched a new blockchain solution for enterprise adoption, Unita, a fully automated data storage and transfer protocol capable of handling over 10,000 transactions per second. They have their Github updated and a strong Road Map. Also, Qtum (the native token) doesn’t require a minimum amount to start staking and has an annual return of approx 8 %, so I will keep an eye on this one!
