Yesterday, February 2nd, Qtum announced that its full node was successfully lunched into space on a Chinese satellite.
The launch was successful and the node made it into space fully functional. Qtum is partners with a program called Spacechain that wants to build an open source satellite network in space. Qtum believes that if it can store data in space, it will eliminate the ability of governments to regulate it.
However, i find a problem with this since governments tend to claim everything as theirs and governments have more control over space than a private country. But if this does succeed, we could see Qtum out last the regulation of other cryptos.
Whatever the case may be in the future, this is historic because Qtum is now the only crypto to have a full node running in space out of the reach of government regulation at the moment. If Qtum is successful, we could see it reach the moon before other coins. This project is something to keep your eye on as they continue to make strides in their goals
