Quarantine Chronicles: Day 17

Well, today was actually a fairly good day to be honest. Sabrina and I got some good work done which is honestly a first since this whole thing happened. It feels really good to actually get something done while we are locked down. I have been looking at the webcam of the beaches and it is just killing me to see all these waves coming in.

I love surfing, and it has been such a good source of excercise for me over the past year or two, but this season just sucked for waves here in Barcelona. Of course as soon as the lockdown was started was when two solid weeks of decent waves rolled in.

Oh well, at least my wife and I are safe and not sick.

I'm seeing the numbers go up and up and up in America and it really scares me for my friends across the pond. I really don't know where this is gonna go but I guess the whole world is in the storm right now and we just have to see where it goes. Canada seems like it is doing ok to be honest, their numbers don't seem to be tracking as extremely as other countries, especially similar to our numbers here in Europe. I hope that they have gotten under this under control better than other countries because all of my family is in Canada still and now I'm hearing that even in the tiny mountain town where my parents live they have a case of the virus now.

Again, I guess we just have to all be careful and see where this thing is going.

Here are a couple of photos that I took a few weeks before the lockdown. Our friend Rebecca came over to hang out for a bit. She escaped home to Finland just before the lockdown happened, so she has a bit of freedom now hahaha.

Anyhow, hope everyone is staying safe out there!! I'll keep posting here as long as this thing lasts, hopefully not too long, but I don't have a lot of hope in that to be honest.
