Thanks for sharing your story of self-isolation. It is important to understand what is happening within China to at least have a glimpse of what might happen to the rest of the world in a couple of months time.
It is now everyone's responsibilities to practice good personal hygiene and social distancing if we want to flatten the infection curve and eventually stop this pandemic.

If it weren't for the possibility of a "second wave" we'd be pretty much done with it over here. The rest of the world just can't stay away from each other, so I'm afraid curve flattening will take a lot longer over there. They just need to make like bears and go hibernate!
Yea, in Singapore we are currently hit by the "second wave". Returning Singaporeans from Europe and US are mainly causing the second surge. Business activities are slow now and people are generally avoiding gatherings. Though I believe we can do better as I still see many people eating out in groups instead of "hibernating" at home. Haha..
It really is a shit sandwich of a decisionmaking tree for for our leaders. On one hand, you force everyone inside and save lives, but in the process you might violate human rights if you're not careful or if the population does not agree with you. On the other hand, you do nothing and half your country gets infected, leading to permanent economic loss.
