I agree that you will learn a lot from looking at Stack Overflow questions and answers, but you can learn even more by learning how to ask a good SO question.

To get support from strangers who can't see your screen, you have to describe your problem in a logical, structured way. Even just writing out your problem in a way that others can understand it can help you understand your own problem better. It's happened so many times that I started writing a question on SO and suddenly realized what the solution was :D
