amount under your post AFAIK is average from past 7 days. Anyway witch each block a new STEEM is created(https://steemit.com/faq.html#How_many_new_tokens_are_generated_by_the_blockchain). But the pool is shared among all users so when other posts are upvoted your reward drops. @summertooth also the average price over the last 3.5 days was down also showing a lower estimated account value on your wallet page. $1.58 again just a day ago that lowers your reward amount as well because that is calculated on 3.5 day average.
I understand the basics bu... before - every day post was raising and raising a little till 7th day, now.. its opposite - is just gets smaller and smaller.
