We get solutions when we elevate ourselves from the platform on which the problem exists.
Doing this gives us a bird’s eye view, and then we see the whole picture rather than just a part of it.
This explains the fact that ideas bounce off us in places like the shower, in the park, in our sleep rather than in the office where the problem originated.
So take a breather, enjoy an afternoon stroll on the street, and you will be poised on a different level which enhances problem solving.
