Mixed Media Textured White
Today's theme is white against white. Here is my entry for @dmcamera's white is white contest.
It is a photograph of one of my mixed media paintings taken against a white wall.
The art was created using acrylic paints and mediums, an old recycled lace table cloth, recycled doilies and old metal washers.
Some details close up:
It actually used to be be very colourful and contained emerald, magenta, turquoise etc, but I didn't like the composition.
I gessoed over it because I liked the texture but it has been in it's current state for more than a year now.
I think it would look good framed, in a minimalist setting but I expect I'll add some colour back into it at some point.
What do you think?
Leave it as it is or use the texture as a new canvas and add some colour again?

Thanks to @dmcamera for the daily white is white contest.
Hi, Gillian! I would leave everything as it is in white color. I like the texture of this picture. If you do it in color, it is possible that color will distract from the texture. :) I think so. But it would be interesting to see those two. Thank You!
I'll have to look and see if I took a photo of it before I gessoed over it. Thanks for your comment @madlenfox. I appreciate it!
I loveeee this!! This would look sick as like an accent wall in a room! Idk what made me think of that! But I love this!!
Thank you. So you'd leave it as it is then @themomlook?
I would stuck as it is, perfect all white piece.
Why not following the path make new colored ones ...
Thanks so much gillian for sharing this jewell with us.
Cheers
Looks like that's 2 votes to leave it as it is then. Not sure if I can handle plain white! 😁
Thank's for your contribution.
Honestly the simplicity and texutres and shapes make this pretty beautiful! Of course, what to do with it in the future is up to your creative inspiration :P
Thank you @skycae!
I think just plain white looks good :D but maybe as you say with color would look nicer
Ha, ha, ha. A man after my own heart @cobmaximus! Thank you.
