It's been too much time since I joined Qurator's Photo Quest, but this week I fortunately stumbled on the weekly post, and as I saw the theme I knew I had to join the fun. Why? because this week's theme is wild animals, and any excuse to post about wildlife is good!
Flying in the skies, perching in the trees, slithering between branches, or hiding in an anemone... for me it's a joy to admire every one of them. Going to places where I can see different species is actually one of the reasons why I travel!
Some are easy to identify, like this white-breasted waterhen, that was quietly searching for lunch in an urban park in Singapore...
... even though she wasn't that interested in being photographed!
Other ones make the task a little bit more difficult, especially since they have a very strong hide-and-seek game! This little lizard did allowed me a good look before vanishing into the surroundings, so I can't really complain.
There are ones that bring their house together with them, too. How diverse is our wild world?
Especially underwater, some of the wild creatures are actually very curious, and will look straight at you! Makes you wonder who's doing the wild watching stuff... maybe both of us?
This diversity of species and shapes, sizes, colours and behaviours is what makes wildlife watching such an enriching experience. Too bad I can't capture all the awesome moments I had so far on camera; at least, the images lodged in my brain remain, and they are invaluable memories.
Hoping for a lot more of these encounters in 2025!

Cool pics 👍 clown fish is really nice photo
I snapped a ton of them, but only a handful weren't blurred. Such cool animals, coming in and out of the anemone to stare at you! :)
The wildlife is very unique, a strange species of underwater creatures. Amazing Photography
Thanks.
