One of the famous cuisine that every Eastern Indian always came carving for is "Litti Chokha" but we can replace "Chokha" and have with "Chatani" as well. Easily made and cooked this dish is very famous among many Indians.
Well this one is at frying stage, which is under preparation. The main item to prepare is Litti which is nothing but stuffed Gram Floor powder called "Sattu" inside a kneaded wheat floor roll. Sattu is easily available in Market, so we don't need to prepare it, but to make dish , we need to add:
- Salt
- Chopped Garlic
- Chopped Chillies
- A little bit of Oil
- Ajwain ( Bishop weed)
We mix all the material in "Sattu" and keep it seperatelly.
On the other hand, we need to knead the floor and get ready to stuff the Sattu mixture into the kneaded floor.
We take small rolls of kneaded floor and make a cup shape of it. Fill the cup with little quantity of "Sattu" and cover it completelly.
Once completelly covered and the stuffed balls are ready, we put them in Oil for deep frying. Yes we Indians do love all oily food. Very carefully we place them on the hot oil on the stove.
We let them to fry , till it get brownish. Once it get completelly fried, take them out and keep it on a plate.
The dish is best served with Tomatoes purie prepared seperatelly and with Green coriander chutney .
Our cuisine is ready to eat and have our stomach filled. We can have this item either on Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner. And of course, if you are going on long travelling trip , then this cuisine is best to have.
