The grasshopper itself has a fairly hard front wing and with a thin rear wing shape. The body length as an adult is between 4 to 7 cm. The feeding behavior of this type of Grasshopper is usually in the afternoon and also at night until morning. this type of Grasshopper often targets food from the family framineae.
The common traveler Grasshopper lays the resulting eggs in the form of egg packets in the soil. The average life cycle of this animal is 76 days .
