As much as I enjoy the sun here in Albuquerque, NM, the fire on top of the Sandia mountains the other day started making me think about our rainy season and how it was delayed. Well today, is the second day of what looks like maybe some rain. Yesterday was hit miss depending on where you are so hoping these set of clouds drop some rain.
I took this picture showing the clouds coming in behind my house with my solar panels on top. As much as i like making energy, i will trade it any day to get some rain. The way the rainy season works around here, we get sun all day and the rains come in the afternoon only to clear for the evening, most of the time :o)
Yay for monsoon season! I have a couple of friends from the Tucson area who do storm chasing. The one friend has a lightning trigger for her camera so she gets some really good lightening pictures during the monsoon season.
Very cool, maybe you can share some of the photos when she has some or maybe your friend can join and share them too :)
I might be able to do that, I'll have to talk to her about it.
It was 109°🌡@ 9:30AM 🕤 in Phoenix today. Not a cloud in the sky. 😣☀️🍳
Man, i'm sorry though i heard it was worse earlier in the year. You all are in the exact same boat as us here, hoping for the summer rains to cool things off...
