I don't like to wake up early but when I go out and the feelings are good, I like to stay up until the morning. It's been so crazy warm in Finland that the water in the lakes is warm enough to swim in even in the night. After the bar and after party, we went to a swim with a few friends and look at the rally cars that were leaving to the first stage of the day. It was a very beautiful morning and I had to take a few shots with my phone, I obviously didn't have my camera with me on the swim.
I am a very bad rally goer today because I will miss all the stages today because my ride left before I was even back home from my swim. The stages are so far that I don't want to tell dad to come and get me when I'm finally up for today. Damn I wish so bad that I had my own car right now!
I'm trying to make the most out of the rally activities, even when I can't make it to any of the stages today.I will probably go to the service park to people watch with my camera. I never really do that because I'm used to being in the stages, so I might actually see something interesting and new to me.
I got some awesome shots of the actual rally yesterday, and if I have time, I will get some of them up today, and if not, then after the weekend.
My family and I went for a swim in Lake Merrasjärvi here in Lahti yesterday evening at about six. The air temperature was about 28-29 C. There was an official announcement at the beach dated on July 17 from the municipal health inspector that had some water quality data in it and also the surface temperature measured on that date. It was unexpectedly high: 25.8 C. There has been nothing but hot weather (occasionally windy though) since then. I suspect the surface temperature was about the same. But there was an important difference. Last week, you could clearly feel there was a colder layer of water a under the surface layer. Yesterday, the water was very warm all the way down to about 1,5 metres.
It seems a lot of building cranes in Jyväskylä, building industry is booming in Finland. Hope economy do not crash too deeply in future.
Well, swimming in the hot lake would be an amazing experience. and i wanted to ask that I have never ever been in rally or even seen it with my eyes, so You tell me how is the experience of it?
Great post by the way. Have a nice day ahead.!!!

The pictures are so beautiful and I am a morning person. Not that I like waking up early but when I manage to see the sunrise,my day starts on the right foot and I feel serene and much more attuned.
Waking up early can also fill you up spiritually :)
I don't even swim...Nice shots anyway.
I also don't like waking up early (like, the process of it), but when I do, I love it! :) Beautiful pics, even with a phone!
