আয়েশা (রাঃ) থেকে বর্ণিত। তিনি বলেন, ইয়া রাসূলাল্লাহ! আমি যদি কদরের রাত পেয়ে যাই তবে কী দোয়া পড়বো? তিনি বলেনঃ
তুমি বলবে-
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
"আল্লাহুম্মা ইন্নাকা 'আফুউন, তু'হিব্বুল 'আফওয়া, ফা'ফু 'আন্নী"।
'‘হে আল্লাহ! তুমি ক্ষমাকারী, তুমি ক্ষমা করতেই ভালোবাসো
অতএব তুমি আমাকে ক্ষমা করে দাও’’।
তিরমিযী ৩৫১৩, মিশকাত ২০৯১, ইবন মাজাহ্ ৩৮৫০
It was narrated from 'Aishah that she said:
"O Messenger of Allah, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?" He said: "Say: 'Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni (O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me).'"
(Sunan Ibn Majah 3850)
Aishah narrated:
“I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, what is your view if I know when the Night of Al-Qadr is, then what should I say in it?” He said: ‘Say: “O Allah, indeed You are Pardoning, [Generous,] You love pardon, so pardon me (Allāhumma innaka Afuwwun [Karīmun], tuḥibbul-afwa fafuannī).’”
