Hey Everyone!
Sorry for the delay in announcing the winners of the Random Games #1 - The random Times Crossword Puzzle. I chose a hectic week to start the contests on. This led to me committing the mortal SteemIt sin of losing my password for my new @randomgames account. So essentially that means I lost 6 Steem which was paid to create the new account, another $7 SBD that is now sitting in the account and is untouchable, as well as another 6 Steem that I lost when trying to create ANOTHER account. That time I just don't know what I did wrong, but it says my password is incorrect right from the first attempt to sign in. Still debating whether to try to create a new account for the games/contests or just run them here on my main account.
In the meantime though I need to announce the winners for week #1. As expected it was a slow week with not a lot of participation. (Although I did expect a few more players) I am assuming as it catches on and the word spreads the number of players will climb.
This week we had two players! They were @themanwithnoname and @professorbee. They actually wound up in a tie, missing one answer each. One of them had one wrong, while the other one might have just missed filling in one box on the crossword puzzle. Note, it was one letter of a two letter word. I am betting he just missed filling in that final box, but to be fair it must be marked incorrect.
Rather than breaking the tie in the manner that was explained in the original post I am just going to split the 5 Steem evenly between the two of them.
Below are the answers to the crossword puzzle clues, some interesting facts, and the completed puzzle.
