RE: [Nomad rants] - The Generation of Participation Awards | How Entitlement reached Steemit

in #rant7 years ago

Now a days people can’t even be bothered to put real effort into things. They just want go to the bidbots and tip their money into it. Pat themselves on the back and call themselves successful. Heck they will write guides about how they became successful doing so and expect to become rich lol.

I always laugh a bit when people put more effort into being "offended" then they did in what ever it was that could been avoided by putting in half the effort into that instead.

I was bullied as a kid and it was good for me. Now a days you have all this "micro aggression" nonsense. Anytime someone wants to hide behind that I cant help but think they have a micro something all right and try not to smile.

Participation awards nothing but created dependence to blind fools into thinking they are something special. I’m as common as a speck of sand. I just hope not to be blown away in a wind storm or to be stuck between someone toes. The ladder sounds quite unpleasant. I can only hope to put in enough effort into life to not suffer such a fate.

It's not like putting effort into things pays off on Steemit. It has nothing to do with your efforts. What matters is who you know and how much SP they have.

But real life works the same way, it's nothing new.
