Why is it so hard for people to grasp steemit .

Yesterday i was writing a post walking from the taco shop to my house. I decided to stop for a cold beer. I put my phone down at the counter to pay and i seen the guy look at my phone. A little light bulb whent on in my head and i started to talk about steemit making me some money. He asked "how what do you do?" i said post like Facebook he said "oh they show you ads?" i said "no ads what so ever. The way you make money is by creating good content and sharing it and when people "like" your post which is called uplike you make money" he coudbt have cared any less then what he did. Ill admit i dont really care for the guy hes around my age always saying the dumbest things but hes not the only one that has done the same when i talk about steem and steemit. Many still have the impression of bitcoin being a scam and all other altcoins as well. We still live in a world that cant accept the end of the fiat. Even with the deflation of the dollar as much as it has people rather bealive that 1 rich guy can fix the debt of the country while hes spending so much of the tax money people have to pay on personal matters. Cryptocurrency is here to stay and the people that jump on this ride wich the best way to do that is steemit. Can people just please be more opened minded and accept the future now !!
