Thanks for responding @azircon. Some clarity on how @curangel determines what to downvote is appreciated. So, from your comments you're guessing that the downvotes stem from lies, conspiracy theories and pseudoscience, but you're not sure.
Here is my opinion.
These are:
Lie
Conspiracy theory
Pseudoscience
I don’t want a discussion on these facts.
It would be helpful if someone could point to any examples of lies and pseudoscience. I read Derrick's work often and he sources his material from on the ground reporting, in person interviews, to government documents.
"I don't want a discussion on these facts". So, people that are not familiar with Derrick's work come to false conclusions about his positions and claim that it is pseudoscience and conspiracies theories but do not provide a shred of evidence in support of their view? But you cannot be bothered to discuss it? Okay.
I think those that downvote his work should at least have the courtesy of explaining why they downvote and what exactly they take issue with. People can disagree but to blanket all of his work (posts) in 60+ downvotes without comment or without providing a basis is lacking, to say the least.
I regularly support Derrick's work here on Hive but I don't blindly upvoted it and I don't upvote every post either - I actually take the time to read/watch it. It has value and with increasingly censored social media landscape of perspectives that do not conform to corporate/government narratives - it's even more valuable than ever.
I also don’t see dbroze staking any hive which makes him not an investor to this platform. If he is going to sell every single hive we give him for rewards I don’t see any reason to be sympathetic to whatever cause he portrayed.
This claim is false as @dbroze has almost 10k Hive staked. Actually, anyone can see from Derrick's wallet that the majority of his Hive is staked and half of that is delegated to the @abundance.tribe project.
I don't blame you for the downvotes, I'm just trying to understand how tolerance of diversity of perspective and opinion on a 'decentralized' platform is becoming a scarce resource.
If someone thinks “earth is flat” or “Vaccination is bad”.... or “Democrats drink dead children’s blood” ... there can’t be any discussion to be had on these. Am I making my personal opinion clear?
I am sorry. I didn't realize 10 K hive stake is substantial. My apologies. I stand corrected.
Wow... let me get this straight.
Just so there's no confusion.
You are saying that @dbroze makes posts concerning "flat earth", "Democrats drink dead children's blood" and "vaccination is bad"?
This is ridiculous.
Link your evidence, here and now.
I'll wait...
You are completely off-base.
The only thing here that is even remotely in the ballpark is that Derrick and other investigative journalists have demonstrated the extreme conflicts of interests between the vaccine industry and government agencies and actors.
And that new rushed experimental vaccines have had flawed testing, tested from private companies themselves, and could be potentially harmful.
Nowhere has Derrick said all vaccines are bad.
You advised Derrick against reporting 'dangerous' information. It seems infinitely more dangerous to dismiss inconvenient information as merely 'conspiracy theory' and labeling people without attempting to understand their research or what their reporting is really about.
I think this clearly shows that people here really have no idea on what Derrick's research is all about. If you believe that @dbroze actually promotes these things you're seriously mislead and have no idea what you're talking about.
who said anything about the earth being flat or the democrats? On the vaccines issue you clearly are uneducated.
Thank you for letting me know that I am UNEDUCATED. This will seriously help you thrive here in hive.
