Unwilling to prescribe medications for legitimate use because of the opiate epidemic so these doctors choose to not provide pain medication to patients. Online doctors being paid by the province to prescribe medication anyway is just a scam, they honestly are gatekeepers and then a pharmacist is just a fancy shop keeper who puts the correct number of pills in a container.
It's sort of sickening to wait hours to get an online appointment and then the doctor is only willing to deal with 1 medicine at a time and hung up the call and told me to book an appointment with a different doctor to get another prescription. The medication I needed are harmless - asthma inhaler and low dose of SSRI, which I have already used before.
