My gripe with the Pi Zero has always been the limited connectivity. With no Ethernet port, and no wifi, connecting to the Pi Zero was an exercise in purchasing various adapters and dongles. The Pi Zero Model W is a gamechanger in that it has built in WiFi. This allows building portable, useful IoT things. See my full review below.
