Ray doesn't take on new investors anymore. But when he did, you needed a BILLION dollars to invest with him. He has a 4-5 decade track record that's better than Warren Buffet's....Yet nobody has ever heard of him. The guy is solid and very charitable. One of the smartest investors ever.

I can understand advocating gold as a safe haven in case the political situation deteriorates. Although now there are other safe haven choices with potentially more upside to consider! And thus more opportunities for diversification.

I agree with him how in the future as tensions start to rise globally having your money in things like USD may not be a good idea. I think that some sort of war or rash conflict is possible and I'd rather have my money in gold, btc and silver rather than having it in the dollar which will be subject to mass inflation. We already can see how it is getting slaughtered and is on a general downward trend.
