As anticipated in an earlier report, the popular gaming company Razer has launched its first ever Android smartphone at an event in London on Wednesday.
Dubbed Razer Phone, boasts of a 5.72-inch Quad-HD UltraMotion display with a refresh rate of 120Hz delivering fastest refresh rates and smooth graphics suitable for high-performance games, which is world’s first of its kind.
The company has partnered with Tencent, Square Enix, and will be bringing more partners to build around 120Hz gaming experience.
Razer says that the UltraMotion adaptive refresh technology synchronises the GPU and display to remove image tearing or lag while driving efficient power usage.
Inside, the Razer phone packs Qualcomm’s high-end Snapdragon 835 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 64GB (UFS) storage. It also gets an option to expand storage up to 2TB with microSD card.
There is a dual 12MP+12MP camera-setup at the back, in which one has a f/1.75 aperture and the other has f/2.6 aperture. At the front, there’s an 8MP fixed-focus selfie shooter with f/2.0. The handset is backed by a 4000mAh non-removable battery, which supports Quick Charge 4+.

The Razer Phone has been priced at $699, which roughly translates to Rs. 45,000. Razer says that the phone will be up for sale later this month from November 17 in North America and Europe. It can be pre-booked starting Wednesday November 1.
Razer is also offering 1,337 units of Razer Phone Special Edition with Razer’s iconic triple-headed snake logo which will have a Neon Green colour
