Razor Network is a decentralized oracle network. Anything which provides external data to a blockchain is an 'oracle'. This network uses a native utility token called $RAZOR. In order to join the Razor Network community and participate as a stakeholder, Razors are needed to be locked or staked. Stakers are awarded fees as well as block rewards for participating in the network. The amount of staked tokens of the stakeholders determines their influence in the network. The core of Razor Network is a set of smart contracts, that can run on any Ethereum compatible blockchain. Razor relies on the underlying blockchain for providing certain properties such as censorship resistance, security from network partition attacks, etc.
$RAZOR has been listed on Antimatter's ChainSwap Exchange, PancakeSwap, Gate.io, Balancer, AEX, Uniswap, etc. With the listing on ChainSwap, the token is now part of the BinanceSmartChain and HecoChain ecosystem, and Razor users will be able to swap ERC20 $RAZOR to BSC or HECO blockchain, for trading and transfer on relevant DEX supporting Binance Smart Chain and Huobi ECO Chain. This makes the tokens more accessible across chains and the broader DeFi ecosystem, opening up endless possibilities for further cooperation as well as added awareness and market adoption.
Razor Network is a growing network. It is the most secured DeFi oracle and has advantages over all other oracles. Users of the network enjoy numerous benefits that users of other DeFi oracles do not. Here users can run a node provided they have enough Razors, they are secured from bribing attacks, they enjoy a robust, secure, and fast oracle network. Users also enjoy a fair and wide distribution of tokens with no bias.
In order to join the Razor Network community one has to become a validator. To participate as a validator, RAZORs have to be bought and staked.
