Greetings, Steemians and Steemettes!
And thus, a new week begins. And words can't describe how much I am already desiring Sunday. Well, Tuesday promises to be exciting today because I will see the butcher again tomorrow. He will pull out the threads from the procedure I went through 1 1/2 weeks ago. Yay. Maybe I will be able to turn and stretch again without having to regret every life decision that led to that very mistake!
I will keep you posted, but until then, let us continue with this story.
Tell me how you like these new designs. I really wanted to try something new for a change.
Chapter 7
Don't let that great price tag fool you, I grabbed the book for free out of a book case. That thumb belongs to me, don't take it away!
Picture taken with my crappy smartphone.
Sara Morgan is still in shock over the developments we discussed yesterday. Finding out that her friend and teacher Marissa Fordham has been brutally killed was already too much to take in for her. Seeing the work of Marissa being ripped to shreds just makes everything even worse.
Mendez still asks whether Marissa had any friends or relatives that they could talk too. The first person Sara mentions is familiar to us. It is Mr. Zahn, the neighbor who found the crime scene. Sara things of him as being a creep and pervert who only loitered around Marissa. She also continues to say that Marissa never saw him as a potential thread, discarding his antics as him just being Zander.
She also mentions some business owners and art enthusiasts that seemed to frequent her. I don't think they will become import though. Mendez continues to follow the prominent lead. For him, the main suspect is still the father, thus, he asks whether Sara knows about any romantic relationships of Marissa she may be aware of.
She does not. Marissa kept to herself about her romantic involvements and Sara respected that and did not ask a lot of questions. How discrete.
Chapter 8
Not much is happening here. The girl, Haley, is still alive, as we know, but not conscious. The detectives and policemen did not find any birth certificates or IDs for either of the victim, which is unusual. The most probable explanation for this is that they have been taken away in order to leave no easy to follow trace that leads to the father.
Zander is also still considered a suspect. We learn that he is apparently quite the brain and teaches math and either physics or philosophy. The people discussing it clearly aren't in it for details.
Some wild theories are spun about the motives of the kills, the possibility of a new killer on a murdering spree, but nothing concrete.
These two chapters really haven't giving us much aside from telling us what Mr. Zahn is all about. Kinda underwhelming actually! Here is me hoping that we get something usable tomorrow.
